WORKMATE
HUMAN RESOURCES INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (HRIMS)
The
Workmate HRIMS is a fully-fledged Human Resources Information
Management System developed by Cyber Networks that has been deployed in
a large variety of industries and customized to suite the various environments.
This system has been successfully implemented in over 90 companies in
the region with a combined workforce of over 20,000 employees. The success
of the system is attributed to its relevance, functionality, flexibility,
scalability, security, integrity and ease of use. Workmate is an integrated
system that spans the entire Human Resource Management function, in three
fully integrated systems: the Personnel System, the Payroll System
and the Time Management System. The Personnel and HR System is the
core system and may be deployed independently. The Payroll and Time Management
systems are add-ons that require the core systems to be in place. The
system features are discussed below:
- Personnel and HR System.
This system consists of a comprehensive Personnel and Human Resource
Development database and Report Writer. Some of the features include:
- Maintenance of only valid employees as approved by the Human Resources
Department.
- Accurate maintenance of a database of all current and past employees
of the company.
- All critical data pertaining to the employees is consistently captured
at the time of engagement.
- Personnel data is conveniently stored, its location known and is made
instantly available when required.
- Only valid employee records being retained in the system.

Payroll System.
This system has been approved by the Kenya Revenue Authority
for its ability to meet KRA’s tax returns requirements. Cyber Networks
also offers a version that meets the needs of organizations in Uganda
and Tanzania. Some of the benefits that you will get with this system
include:
- A fully user-defined system that can incorporate adjustments for statutory
returns and tables such as PAYE, NSSF, Service Charge and NHIF.
- It supports an unlimited number of user-defined earnings, deductions,
loans and savings.
- It caters for casual, permanent, part time or full time employees daily,
hourly or weekly depending on the criterion that has been set for their
employment.
- Time Management System.
The Time Management System provides control over man-hours spent
and claimed by each employee. Several companies lose millions of shillings
in revenues through excessive payments of staff who are either not working
or not at the workplace altogether.
- It provides management with timely attendance reports on all employees,
including those that are offsite and those reporting to work at odd hours.
- It automatically computes all time-based calculations on the payroll.
- It alerts management early on cases of habitual lateness or absence
from stations of work.
- It enables management to identify areas that are either under staffed
or over staffed.
- It provides a convenient access control device that reports on all entries
and or attempts to enter company premises.
IMPEX (IMPORT-EXPORT)
This is a commercial application that supports operations of organizations
in the import-export business. From scheduling to marketing and sales,
the implementation of Impex places a high premium on the value chain,
thereby reducing the loopholes that traditional import-export concerns
would encounter such as stock levels, place and time variances, quality
assurance and packaging.

MANAGER
Canteen Manager is a system that meets the software management service
requirements for the hospitality industry. From frontline sales to ingredient
ratios, Canteen Manager is the ultimate software solution for small and
medium sized food outlets and canteens. The system covers operations in
purchasing, stores, bookings, accounts and personnel.
