MCSA training covers the skills of network administrators, network
engineers, systems administrators, IT engineers, information systems
administrators, network technicians, and technical support specialists
as defined by the National Workforce Center for Emerging Technologies
Skill Standards for Information Technology and other research organizations
worldwide.

MCSA's
are typically responsible for the day to day operations on a computer
network running on Windows platform, including, creating user accounts,
resetting passwords and other maintenance tasks. MCSA's are, many
times, also Computer and/or Network Technicians. An MCSA can take
additional certification especially in designing network infrastructure
to become an MCSE.
